Glenelg
The Rural Housing Service piloted its Personal Housing Plan technique in Skye & Lochalsh. This provides an individual housing action plan for people in housing need. The research showed that there were many households living in poor housing conditions and caravans in the Glenelg area who had not registered on the waiting list of the Council or Housing Association. The result of the research was the development of 4 new housing association houses in Glenelg by Lochalsh & Skye Housing Association.
